Júlia, is a social activist, a mother, and an advocate for gender equality. She has a bachelor’s degree in Educational Administration and Management and she’s the Head of Sisterhood and Mentorship at Girl MOVE Academy.

Júlia fights everyday so the rights of the girls she works with are preserved but also to ensure they discover their inner power and elevate their talents. She’s also truly passionate about her Africanity and to honor it she created the movement “O chá de Raízes”, where she gathers women of different ages and with different experiences, so that while sharing a tea, they can talk about their African roots, from their afro curly hair to the role of women in the Mozambican contemporary society.
